I Wish I Were A Bird (prose poem)
If I were a bird, I would soar through the endless sky, with the wind brushing against my soft feathers I would glide effortlessly, free from the constraints of gravity and the worries of the world belowI would fly above the bustling city, witnessing the bustling crowds and the tall buildings that reach towards the heavens I would witness the blueness of the ocean as it stretches out infinitely, and I would feel the warmth of the sun on my wingsAs a bird, I would have the ability to see the world from a different perspective I would witness the beauty of nature, with its majestic mountains and flowing rivers I would watch as the seasons change, with the colorful leaves of autumn and the blooming flowers of springI would travel far and wide, exploring different lands and meeting new creatures I would visit the rainforests, where exotic birds chirp and monkeys swing from tree to tree I would fly over the vast plains, where herds of wild animals roam freelyBut being a bird is not just about freedom and adventure It also means dealing with challenges and dangers I would have to brave the harsh storms and strong winds I would have to constantly search for food and protect myself from predatorsDespite the challenges, I would still wish to be a bird For in the sky, I would find a sense of peace and tranquility that cannot be found on the ground I would feel a connection to the earth and all its creatures, as I am a part of this vast and beautiful worldAs a bird, I would cherish every moment of my existence, appreciating the simple joys of flight and the beauty of nature I would sing my songs to the world, expressing my happiness and gratitudeBut for now, I am just a human, confined to the earth I can only imagine what it feels like to be a bird, to experience the freedom and beauty that they possessSo I will continue to dream, and hopefully, one day, my wish will come true, and I will spread my wings and fly, soaring through the endless sky like a bird
